It’s so easy to fall into comparison… especially when you’re a beginner out on the pickleball court.
You see players ripping winners, stacking with confidence, or getting up to the kitchen line like it’s second nature…
And suddenly you’re questioning if you’re “good enough” or if you’ll ever get there.
👉 But here’s the reminder: You’re not in a race with anyone else.
The only version you’re measuring against:
The YOU from last week.
Last month.
Last year.
✅ Are you showing up and playing more often than you used to?
✅ Are you making better shot choices than the old you would’ve made?
✅ Are you handling mistakes or tough games differently than you did a few months ago?
✅ Are you taking clinics or lessons to improve your game?
That’s what REAL progress looks like.
