The other night, I found myself sitting at a table with six amazing women after one of our pickleball sessions. As I looked around, I was overcome with emotion… all of them had become true friends.
These ladies first met on the pickleball court through my sessions, but now? They’re playing in a league together, meeting up during the week, and building friendships that extend far beyond the court. THIS is why I do what I do.
Yes, I coach pickleball. But it’s never just about pickleball. It’s about creating a safe, welcoming space where people can show up as themselves, connect, and feel a sense of belonging. As we get older, making new friends can be tough—especially if you’re new to the area. That’s why community matters so much.
I feel so grateful that I get to be part of these connections, whether it’s on the pickleball court or at my Release, Renew & Reconnect Bonfire (September) . These gatherings are another way to pause, let go of what’s heavy, and connect with yourself and others in a meaningful way. My next one is coming up September 3rd, and I’d love for you to experience the magic of community there.
If you’re looking for community or hoping to meet new friends, come join me on the pickleball court or at one of my monthly bonfires. Reach out and let’s connect!
Here’s to more pickleball, more connection, and more spaces where we can truly just be.
